I sell decoupage homewares and gifts. I have decoupaged many items since learning the technique, but currently I am focusing on my vases, which are what I will be selling at Autism Angels. My vases come in a few shapes and sizes as well as designs. There will be two shapes available at the shop, but you can contact me directly if you would like an alternative shape or design.
My large vase is £18 and the small is £9.50. I like to sell them at a reasonable price so that it reflects the time and skill gone into making them, but not so high that they won't sell; as making the vases is my favourite part!
I started decoupaging during lockdown when I wasn't allowed to see clients through my massage business. My husband suggested I try a new hobby and in the same week a lady posted a how to guide for decoupage on facebook; it was meant to be! I started practising on bottles and jars. From here I moved onto coasters, plant pots and vases as well as other products along the way.
I love the community feel this charity has. Supporting local businesses and charities is a passion of mine and should be high on everyone's agendas. Also, it is very important to support one another as stall holders so it's lovely to see so many of my friends products also for sale at the shop.
